Introducing Sacred
River Healing
It is with great joy that we announce the formation of our partnership as
Sacred River Healing, through which we hope to bring deep healing work to
individuals and the community. Although we focus our work in different ways,
we both seek the integration of the whole human being, and see the physical
body as the magical creation through which we experience and express the
deepest aspects of our souls on Earth. Our healing work, whether focused in
the physical body or the psychological and emotional, always considers and
respects this intention.
During these times, the ordinary stresses
of life are magnified by the larger forces of suffering that surround us.
War and the destruction of the earth's life support system continue to
plague us all, and have an effect on the difficulties we experience related
to work, relationships and even physical healing. All is connected, and our
nervous system and life energy are not separate from what is going on around
us.
To speak to this, we are bringing
together what we have been studying and teaching for the past 35 years.
Ginny has been offering deep
integrative bodywork for over 30 years and in the Hudson Valley for the past
16 years. She is well known and respected in the area for her
work. Alan has just moved here from California where he founded and directed
Holos Institute, focusing his work as a licensed psychotherapist on what he
calls "therapy for the mind, heart and soul living in a body". In addition
to offering our individual work through Sacred River Healing, we are
developing programs that join our approaches, both for individual and group
work. We look forward to keeping in touch with you around new developments.
