AFFORDABLE SPIRITUALITY
SMALL, INTIMATE RETREAT AT THE AWARENESS CENTER OF COSTA RICA

Retreat: Friday through Sunday
(From NY, NJ, or CT: 5 hours from Newark on Continental, approx $575 Direct)
Friday and Sunday Travel time (Detailed info forthcoming): Total of 10 Days
SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY: 8 DAY RETREAT-VACATION
Tentative Schedule, with approximate costs:
6 a.m. Rise and greet the Sun
6:30-7:45 FIRST GATHERING
(Yoga/Meditation/Awareness Circle/Dreamwork/Other possibilities
--see GROWTHWORKS below)
7:45-8:30 Breakfast (Plenty of local fresh fruits, etc.)
8:30-10:00 a.m. SECOND GATHERING (one of those above in First Gathering, or
Spanish class)
10:00 - 1 Free Time (Rest and Relaxation, Reading, walking, hiking,
conversation, sunbathing, GestaltWork, massage ($40/hr), etc.)
1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Lunch (at home or on a trip)
2:00-4:00 p.m. Free Time (as above) or more Spanish practice
OR, 10-4 p.m. THREE tentative VACATION TRIPS:
1. Horseback riding to NAUYACA waterfalls:

above)
10 p.m. Lights out/Silent time
Internet available plus Internet/Tel Cafes in Dominical

3 Tents with platform/roof (like Omega's tent setup): 3-4
Bring your own small tent: unlimited, only $15/nite
FOOD: 3 meals/day ($25/day) or Group cooking and cleaning:
Shopping/cooking/cleaning bonds community

TUITION: 3 Gatherings/day. Total for retreat depends on the leaders and
number of students, for example, if 8 people that's only
$5/gathering/person.

Not included, airfare, transfers to and from San Jose Airport (3 hours) to
Center
(East Ride Van: $45 each way)
Regarding air times: best to arrive by 1 p.m. on Friday
and depart not earlier than 2 p.m. on Sunday
(it takes about 3 hours from San Jose
to Center, near Dominical, by Easy Ride Service)
